What Nebraska Bankruptcy Filers Need To Know Regarding the Coronavirus Stimulus Payment

[UPDATE] Please visit the IRS website here for all information on Stimulus payments.

Economic Impact Payments or Stimulus Funds

There were three “Economic Impact Payments” dispersed during 2020 and 2021 for eligible citizens. Eligibility depended on income, age, and citizenship. At this time the only stimulus payments that are still being disbursed are related to the third round of payments that began in March of 2021.

At Steffens Law Office, we have received many questions like, “Where is my stimulus payment?” or “Why didn’t I receive my stimulus check?” Unfortunately, we cannot answer these questions. The questions should be directed to the U.S. Department of the Treasury. See their information on stimulus payments here. Your tax representative may also be able to help you obtain funds through your tax return if you have not received them yet.
